How can the designer describe his own project? The most important thing is how the observer percepts the designer’s project. It does not mean that I’m going to leave my readers without introduction. In this short article I tried to express my point of view concerning modern yacht design. 
     Contemporary world enriches us with every possible paints, which forms the uncountable variety of new styles. As though everything around is filled with technicism, nevertheless, feels also universal need for the artistic images embodied in the created subject. Those tendencies, when function and design are losing the predominating position, sometimes make the subject closer to special art forms.  But what is functional today? Observer will ask. How incredible it may be, but functionality should be absolutely embodied in perfect constructions and mechanics of the yacht. Art value of yachts can be also functional. It is connected with the need of different people to represent their high individuality. It doesn’t mean, that function and design should be subordinated completely to art forms, but their competent parity creates such a wealth, which reflects and enriches our inner world and takes care of our safety. We can observe a sort of mannerism showing our uncertainty in looking for the Perfect and representing the tendencies of the past century.
     Very often a crisis of ideals used in style decisions in yacht building generates doubtful metamorphoses, which bring melancholy to so-called novelties. But the designers are searching and trying to find out with mathematical accuracy a new formula of unexpected style. Probably, it will be the style of one designer, but many others would be inspired by his ideas. My objective is to show an observer all the exclusiveness and novelty of design on a joint with art and mathematics.
Partly, I have made an attempt to embody it in those projects that you can observe. Creating my projects I tried to pay an attention to such important features of a person doing new steps in the third millennium – intensity, dynamism, absence of skepticism and doubts in actions.
     I hope, that extraordinarity of my projects would be perceived as something, that could generate a standard in future and reflect the individuality.
